Odd thought... but maybe Pep will think about using Alves as his "regista" like he did with Lahm at Bayern, now that Alves is getting on. He has the ball control and technique to play that role, and he's an intelligent footballer too.

I'm wondering when City's players meet up, because I think we are going on the States pretty soon. Sky had us down as returning to pre-season training on 10th July when most clubs are back next week.

Doubt it sounds like hes gone from Brazil to Argentina, probably sometime next week. They would hope to get them done by 10 th I would guess.
