I love the idea that all through their relationship they never spoke about him coming to City. He got engaged, made a deal to go to City, but on his wedding day decided to speak to PSG and renege on his deal.

If he decided to go to PSG Pep would probably already know and City would be briefing accordingly.

I would be surprised if he simply doesn't turn up and signs for PSG leaving us in the lurch but we'll wait and see.

It's ridiculous. We got Bernardo over and signed before he went off to the confed cup, we got Edserson sorted as soon as his season ended before he went on holiday but for our full back targets, arguably the most important signings we needed, we seem fine letting them jet off on holiday and it looks like it could have cost us one of them.

Could just as easily be spending a day in Paris with his wife as he is signing for PSG. Who knows. Don't see why people need to feel like they've cracked the case hours or days before we'll find out more info.
