Dani Alves

Well first he suggested that Dybala should leave Juventus if he wants to grow further, then he posted a photo on Instagram of his shoes, which are the ones he wore in UCL 2015 final in which Barca beated Juventus and won the champions. Just imagine what he will tell Gabriel Jesus should he be in City.
He already plays with Jesus for Brazil and Dybala is still at Juve.

Was a really interesting pod even for me. I didn't realise quite how much Graham loves Dani.

People who watched the most of Pep's Barca seem to love Alves most. There's definitely a correlation between how much of that side people saw and how much they value Alves' role in it.

Sid Lowe is another who waxes lyrical about Alves at every opportunity.

We lack leaders in the dressing room, In Tandem with Walker (Ive always been pro English, again for a stronger dressing room) I see it as good business, Walker cant play every game so Alves even for just a season is great business.

Liked the Alves POD by the way.
I'm not sure that there is any tandem with Walker. Alves will want to play in his final years as a footballer whilst Walker is at Spurs has CL football and is in a World Cup year .

He said Dybala *might* have to leave Juventus one day if he's going to be the very best.

IMO this ties in with his comments to Graham Hunter about Juve having a small club mentality, and his criticism of Juventus not handling the fine details in the build up to the CL final. He's a player they brought in to get them over the line and win a CL after 7 final losses, and he's turned around and said, basically "I did my bit, you've let things down on your end, so I'm off".

He's insanely driven, and demanding of success. If he gets here and we underwhelm him, if he doesn't think we've got what it takes to reach the top, if he thinks there's a small club mentality, then he'd probably say the same about G. Jesus because, unfortunately, it would be true. You can't become the best in the world at a club that isn't at the top.

Hopefully though, as Pep is a kindred spirit with equal desire for success, as is Sanchez, and Jesus by the sounds of it, they will drag us up with them to that level of constant winning, and insatiable appetite for the next goal, the next win, the next trophy. If that happens, he'll never say anything similar to the Dybala remark.

Similar to the Maicon signing really.

Will be brilliant going forward, people will moan when that means he gets exposed defensively. Decent squad player.
Maicon was not a good signing as you well know. The difference is that Alves is still playing at a very high level
