Apparently he's similar to Madison according to one of those comparison things

But not as good. In addition if we had signed Madison where would he play in our formation?

Yeah, it seems so, but to be fair, I think the need to address the DM position is so big that it's worth £100m if neccessary. As it stands, I don't think anybody really knows what the plan is, but we better address this glaring need.

If we don't get world-class/world class material DM, I don't see us winning 5 in a row relying on Rodri running on fumes.

As for the rest? I am happy with Savio + DM + someone like Kimmich (versatile, experienced, world-class, relatively cheap). I would classify it as a brilliant window.

If we got a DM and Kimmich ,where are you playing the DM when Rodri plays ? If we were to get Kimmich and another player it would have to be a pure 8. Even then not sure haow you crowbar them both in and Savio. It can only be Kimmich OR an 8 that can play 6. Not both, there just aren’t enough minutes to go round with 3 players in.

If we had sorted Bruno G and Savio and that was that i would have been delighted mate and then react to any other transfers as we went along? We have a reluctance to blow another £100m though on a player even though even have already done it?

The journalist that reported Olmo interest has many sources in the Spanish camp, he gets info on Spanish players first out of everyone especially if they are linked to Barca.when it comes to Spanish players Martinez Ferran is more in the know than Romano. He's been first on almost every Spanish player transfer.

Don’t alway mean they are the best players for us either.Were Rodri, Bernardo, Ake, Akanji, Ederson even KDB,just of the cuurent team the most sought after, talked about or expensive players on the market when we bought them. No ,just the right players for us and we made them great players.
 
The Mundo article reads like Olmos camp is trying to push someone into the bid, rather than knowing anything City are planning. (might be a bit lost in translation).

He probably knows what the player wants, just not the plans of Txiki.

Xavi Simons has far more potential and I’d assume wouldn’t cost as much as the likes of Wirtz and Musiala.

We need Alvarez,and won’t be letting him go, we don’t need Simons, unless Bernardo goes or maybe KDB, they probably won’t.These are the sort of players we may be looking for in a year or maybe even 2 years time.

On Rodri, Bernardo and Kev, the answer is Kinda yes

In Rodri's case he was the best DM nor at a big club. So yes.

In Bernardo's case, Kinda. Coz Mbappe was also got, but we weren't getting him. Other than Mbappe Bernardo was it.

In the case of Kev, it was him and Pogba were the 2 most sort after at the time....
