Daniel Agger (continued)

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2012/08/its-not-rodgers-fault-lfc-star-blames.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2012/08/it ... lames.html</a>

Agger simply isn't worth the money Liverpool want for him. Look at the stats above, his injury record is alarming to say the least, he was out injured almost 50% of them time at Liverpool.

2006/2007 was the only season where he did not get injured.

If we spent another 20+ million on a crook , this will be almost like RSC all over again.

Cheers mate, and cheers to the other posters. Sure, I´ll stick around. I did have a soft spot for City in the 1990es, when I was really into Oasis and trying to uphold my trying-way-too-hard-to-be-a-grungy-loser identity with an irrational passion for a football team, that never won anything. Needless to say, you guys fit that bill perfectly ;-)

Then again, now that you´re winning everything, I´m not sure I can be seen with you guys. Oh well, there´s always Millwall.[/quote]

As long as United exists, there is a perfectly valid reason to support city, whatever we win things or not.

Guidetti seems to be a decent striker , i would have loved it city offered something like £20m + guidetti

We are talking about Agger here - not Messi or Ronaldo. At this rate I assume you value Charlie Adam at more than £5m and Jordan Henderson at more than £3m ! ; ).

Great first post above,

TBF it is what you would expect

1) I have no intention of leaving
2) I will consider leaving if the club dont want me (but I will get my loyalty bonus)
3) I will consider my options
4) I might have said in the past I wouldn't play for another prem league club but things can change.

Liverpool appear to be trying to take the piss with how much they want for Agger but they will sell if City offer enough but they can't actually force Agger out so it will be interesting to see what happens if they accept an offer from City.

If it was up to me, I'd move on to other targets but I'm not Brian Marwood.

If it was up to this forum we'd walk away from deals so fucking fast half of them would never get concluded and the other half wouldn't even get started.

Agger has shit signing written all over him at £20 million +

At £15 - £18 million yes you can just about see its worth taking the risk as hes a decent player when fit for cover and hes not going to have to play every week at city.

But £20 million plus hes not worth anything like that. The lad from Belgium who plays with Kompany at international level cost spurs around £10 million. Hes a really good player and less than half Aggers price with none of the injury problems. There are loads of top centre half around in the German, italian and Spanish leagues you we could pick up for £20 - £25 million.

I just dont understand where we are comming from in the transfer market this summer. No wonder Mancini is pissed off.

On Guidetti we wouldnt give him away for nothing to a prem side plus hes likely to be out for most of the season with a serious virus problem anyway by the sounds of it.
