Daniel Agger (continued)

Guidetti seems to be a decent striker , i would have loved it city offered something like £20m + guidetti

And I would like it if Barcelona offered us £40m plus Messi for Stefan Savic.

Pointed out to me that we need a left footed centre half to either start in place of Lescott or cover for him. I can't think of too many players who fit that bill, Agger certainly does. If Mancini wants a complete and talented set of defenders with proper balance in personel Agger is the man and if he costs 27m that is what he costs.

Zab/Richards Kompany/Toure Lescott/Agger Kolorov/Clichy

It is as simple as that.

I think it's no coincidence that there is the story out today about the dippers offering Skrtel a new deal.

If they valued and wanted to keep Agger then surely they would be looking to sit down with him and discuss extending his contract?

New quotes from Daniel but really it's just more of the same stuff with nothing new. Apart from the fact he think Rodgers wants to keep him and the owners are doing the selling.

If Daniel Agger is sold, it is because the owners can not say no to money.

If Daniel Agger leaving Liverpool, it is not because he wants away, or because the new manager Brendan Rodgers will work with him. However, it would be because the club owners would prefer the money he could bring at a sale, rather than his qualities on the pitch. To conclude the national team now permanent states Daniel Agger even after speaking with Brendan Rodgers, who this summer joined the club.

- Yes, I have spoken with him (Rodgers), anything else would have been strange," We have talked about transfers, about the upcoming season and his ideas for the team and for me."

- No, not at all. But it's probably not the one who decides such things. I guess the owners, as is any other company.

How do you feel about that?

- I okay with. It's about to obey, and I am very good at. I have no great need to know everything that is happening.

One of the arguments have been put forward as an argument that you'd like to change is that you could have a behøv to win titles. How much does it for you?

- It's about winning. So it is in football, and so it is for me. How is it safe for many people outside of football. But as a kid was such that I would win, and that's it for me as a person today. So of course means the trophies something and I had not been if I had not believed that we could win. If no club wants me, and if I thought we could win something, so I was not. I've tried to win two trophies, and I've tried to be in a Champions League final. The things I would obviously like to try again, says Daniel Agger with regard to the Charity Shield title and the Carling Cup victory last year and the Champions League final you put for AC Milan in 2007.

What are these titles that you believe I can win with Liverpool? `

- This is about a building, and as long as there is progress, I see some possibilities, and if we can get in the Champions League again, we are also well advanced and I believe it is feasible, says Daniel Agger.

Not really.

Agger isn't the only option in the world, indications are that Liverpool are as keen to sell as we are to buy, and we are operating within tight financial guidelines.

If it was just a case of paying the asking price, no matter how high he would already be a blue.

From "Macca", the vaunted Dipper ITK quoted earlier in this thread who is Liverpool's version of Tolmie.

There is also a good chance Daniel Agger may go, he wants to stay but sometimes money talks.

Except he doesn't post crap cryptic clues and just says what he knows.

Agger would be a great signing for anything below 18 million, but if we are having to pay like 27 million for him we may as well sign someone better and younger like Hummels.

We won't pay 27mil for him, it will end up being undisclosed but will be 20/22mil.

That would be less concerning if it is true.
