I used my FBI connections, and found Macca.

He is some kind of highly regarded ITK on some Pool forum. Basically the Tolmie of a Pool forum.

He is giving infos just like Tolmie, and they believe him.

Well we have two serious ITK's, going against each other, right?
I'm not sure what is more out there. Tello leaving Barca on loan after having a great break through season to a mid table team or them chasing Walcott who is asking for 100k a week.

As for Sahin I can't help but feel sorry for him. He goes from a lynch pin of a Bundasliga winners to the Real Madrid bench to being chased by Liverpool. He will be at Preston in a few years at this rate.
So basically, a Liverpool player 'doesn't want' to move to a club way ahead of them in the table, reigning champions and in the Champions League.
But players from clubs way ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League and in the Champions League want to give that all up to play for them.
Typically deluded fantasy land

I agree weve had apiss poor summer transfer window as champions we should be building on our sucsess not sitting back on our laurels cause believe me everybody is waiting to pounce on any sign of weakness.
If it all goes tits up this season Marwood should be strung up by his knackers on one of those supports that hold the stadium roof up FFPor not

I take the opposite view. IMO buying no one is a positive move. Who are these players that could really improve us? This close season there is a shortage of top quality players available. By all accounts hazard was the one young gem who we could have got but we took the wise decision and were not taken for a ride
Now I like DDR and I like RVP but they are getting on. Both would add a little quality but these kind of signings stink of when Chelsea bought Shevchenko and Ballack.

Now surely it is better to keep the pennies in the bank? Let Chelsea and PSG spend shit loads of money on decent but not the elite players. Let them test the water in regards to FFP. Over the next 12 months opportunities may arise for other players to come to prominence. Next year Wilshire may want to leave for example, Higuain may fancy a move etc. It would put us in a great position as we may have a clear run at a better quality player than what is available today,

No point just chucking money away unless it strengthens us. IMO we still have the best squad in England. Natural progression should see us improve anyway. if we don't win a trophy this upcoming season, so what? Since when has being a City fan ever been all about winning stuff?

Agree with all of that, apart from a centre half. When Kolo is off to ACN we are down to Komps and Lescott. An injury to either and we're relying on Savic (or asking Micah to play in the centre), either of which is recipe for disaster I am sorry to say.

hahahahaha Well spotted.

He could well be right though but has added a bit of 'spin'. For example, Agger many not want to leave as he doesn't think he will get in our first XI.

"Daniel is a top player and you do not want to lose your best players," said Rodgers. "He has been here seven years. He loves the club and its supporters. But every player has his price and we will see where it goes."
