Where have I said that he'd be on the bench all the time? He'll be rotated with Lescott and Clichy, I imagine.

My point was that Agger will spend next to no time on the treatment table, and not that he would spent a considerable amount of time on the bench.

They say whatever they think they have to say to keep their fanbase happy and then they try to arrange circumstances to suit the narrative while still getting what they really want. If they want to sell Agger, they'll just start dropping rumors in the press about how he's agitating for a move and then make his life as untenable as possible at Liverpool hoping he gets fed up and puts in a transfer request in order to portray him as the bad guy to the already delusional RAWK-ites a la Meireles last season.

Doesn't mean they won't try. If that strategy doesn't work, they might play the "Woe is me! Andy Carroll is so unreasonable we have to sell a beloved star just to get the new players we MUST have in before the season starts!" card. From all appearances, they really want Dempsey. They don't want to buy before selling though.

I once was sent a text to a link from their site. It was when Kenny got sacked. Basically went something like this;

'I finished work and went home, I opened the door and my Mum called me into the Kitchen. She was sat their at the breakfast bar sat on a stool, crying. She held the tears back and she said ''Son, I have some bad news for you. They have got rid of Kenny!'', she began to cry again and my Dad consoled her by saying evrything would be ok, he did so with a lump in his throat. I had to get out the house and take a walk to get my head straight.

I literally cried in laughter at the patheticness of this idiot and his family. Sad act bastards would go into turmoil if they lost their family dog. I'd hide sharps and any rope put it that way.

I can see Agger playing more often than not,certainly if we use a three but also as Vinnys partner.

I personally can see this signing being the end of Kolarov.

The signing of Agger would mean we could play 3 at the back with attacking wing backs, a system that would suit Kolarov down to the ground.
