How can you call the fucker "greedy"? And continue to cheer on some of the mercenaries at the club atm.

Fair play to him, moved to a club that challenges for honours regularly and with the age of their current forward line I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting more game-time in the near future.

Because Carlos Tevez and Adebayor and the like were all first team players who were coming from guaranteed places at big clubs. They could ask us to compensate them for the loss of CL football.

Sturridge wanted £80,000 a week because he made a couple of sub appearances.

and he hasn't been missed in the slightest.

Really don't know why people are so bothered, he's moved on for whatever reasons and so have we as a club. It's not personal to footballers like it is to us the fans. For what its worth I think he's done whats right for him, two medals, a fat wage, living down in London fair play to him as I doubt he would have been an integral part of the future here in the same way as some of our other homegrown players are currently having to come to terms with.

Sturridge scored in all the 3 games he started in our FA Cup run, so you can't say he didn't deserve an FA Cup medal.

Like many have said he clearly made the right decision to come to us.

A part from that he made key contributions to winning us games.

He won us the penalty at West Ham, and he did some good work putting in a lot of effort where he really didn't need to, which ended up winning us a corner at Burnley, which John Terry scored the equaliser from, little contributions, but in a season where he didn't get much chances, and a Premier League that was so close, he has been a fantastic signing for us as well, and we're very excited & optimistic for the future.. There's still a lot of work to be done.

No, I just checked if he won the young player of the season award, but he only managed to do that at City.

Our whole under 18 squad got the "young player of the year" award because they were youth FA Cup winners.
