Huge physical presence when he and Mendy are on both flanks. Danilo also makes a phenomenal number of runs that simply exhaust the midfielders and forwards that have to track him. As the game goes on, these players just stop following him due to exhaustion.

Agreed. Doesn't seem that popular with most fans I know but I think he's made a big contribution particularly since the turn of the year.

If I didn't want us to bring Pablo Maffeo back I'd say keep him but offers are coming in for Maffeo already so we need to show him his place is at City. Maybe Danilo can be a utility player for us though? DM, RB, LB as and when needed.
