Looks like a pretty astute piece of business st £26m in the current market. Has been very good in pre-season on the left and on the right. Genuinely two footed and has a great engine. It's a compliment to him that no-one seems bothered about missing out on Alves now.

Just said on Twitter that I think he'll become a cult hero and contender for POTY. Has all the hallmarks of a great signing for us

Alvie's going to psg was a stroke of luck in hindsight.
 
I think Danilo will be full of motivation this year to force his way into Brazil's squad for the World Cup- but he has a job on his hands.
