He's absolutely brilliant. At one point second half it looked like he was playing a 'defensive free role' - always in the right place for passing as well as defending. The 352 works if he plays as part of the 3 - the whole point is it morphs into different systems throughout and he allows that to happen

I thought he looked even better when he went into midfield in the second half. I thought he was one of our best players.

All defenders, Sane and Yay aside. I'm was more referring to midfield players and ahead. We have a lot of players that start in our first 11'that would be considered quite small in comparison to other teams.

Incredibly versatile, and has impressed every time I've seen him. Lost his way at Madrid but looks like a great signing - no one's arsed about missing out on Dani Alves any more.

Danilo is already proving a great buy, not only has he shown he can cover a number of positions but he's proving strong enough to force his way into the side in places he probably didn't expect to play too much. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in 6 or so positions across the season. If he can start to cover us at CB too then that's a huge bonus.
