Yes im deadly serious.
he stops, he doesn't anticipate whatsoever and he just stops.
he then makes a half arsed effort and despite his slowness he doesn't even try to make a lunge for the ball.
He is a defender and he was nowhere.
Maybe if he had the speed of usain bolt he could have got to it but in the real world no player would have got to that

At this level the very best are playing the game in their heads and he doesn't have it.

When Firmino shot gone off it was to late. The problem was he stopped before the finish instead of reading the situation and place himself on the line.
he still wouldn't have got there unless he was superman

He was really close to get there despite him giving up halfway and then making an half arsed attempt to save it.he still wouldn't have got there unless he was superman

Watched it several times now and there is no way he'll ever be quicker than a ball being striked it's basic physics.
