I'm glad for Kompany that most will go for him or likewise delighted if people go for Silva but I thought Danilo was a bundle of energy and really pushed others on.

That was a real top performance today. Great defending, impressive energy, clever attacking and a lovely assist. He was the first City player to turn to the fans in celebration after FT and I think he deserved the applause he got. A battling performance that showed that he belongs here.

I honestly can't think of a better one, taking into account the circumstances.

Why some people even think for one second of getting rid of him, I really don't understand. He is a huge asset.
