Danny Murphy's man of the match!

I keep hearing 'we will get beaten off better teams'. Well, who are they? We knocked 5 past Monaco, beaten Barcelona, played United and Arsenal off the pitch and should have burried Spurs and Chelsea

It's lazy to say 'we can't defend', these commentators make out we are the only team that concedes goals/chances - watch United and Spurs. They give chances away left right and centre, just their keeper pulls them out of the shit more often than not

We were 2nd in the league when we last played, 1/4 final of the FA Cup and more or less the 1/4 of the Champs League - these 'better teams' better turn up quickly!!!

Spot on. It's a another example of the drip effect - say it often enough and it becomes a reality. It's the first thing someone (a Burnley fan no less) said to me in the office next day. I put him right.

Well Danny has just been back on the BBC's football focus. They showed the goals and near misses from Wednesday then Dan Walker said something complimentary ! about Sergio, Murphy was then asked about him, at the same time they showed Sergios stats from Wednesday. I will sum up what the cock said 'You know i worry he will get injured if he keeps running around like that'.
He didnt mention his goals or even his workrate, just that if he keeps running around like that he will get injured, he mentioned when he went to close the keeper down 'he'll do his hamstring'

Not ONE compliment. the man is a grade A Cock.

He wasn't motm & would only be awarded it, againt a 'lesser' team in the eyes of these establishment ****s who pollute football in this country.

He wouldn't have been motm playing for City, when we were shit, in a 1-5 v Liverpool either. I'm fucking sick of it.

If city played, lost, but aleix garcia played a blinder...he may be just as likely get the award on the night. A young player having a good game.

Personally i think its great to see a youngster get honored. It almost seems in the spirit of this declining competition these days. I get the whole bitterness from city fans, i really do, but i feel you are completely going overboard on the MOTM thing.

If Billings had played a blinder this thread wouldn't exist.

As Murphy couldn't tell the difference between Otamendi and Aguero for our penalty, he probably thought that Sterling was Billing for his motm decision.
