Danny Murphy's man of the match!

I thought Murphy was ok besides the Aguero/Otamendi penalty mixup and the motm. He was pretty fair and had some humour for the rest of the game I thought.

It's like he was distracted at times. I suspected something happening under the table. He'd never!?

And to round it all off they spent 10 minutes post match showing some tripe about United and a Teddy Sheringham interview ffs and then cut Pep off in mid sentence in his post match interview

Dont uuualy mind Murphy but to give some one man of the match who only played 70 min and whose team got thrashed (it could have been 8 or 9) is just bizar .

Yeah, I thought those two were odd decisions.
As the BBC are showing Spurs-Millwall, if the Sheringham thing had actually been about either club, that would have been reasonable.
I don't think I've seen an interview cut away from with so little reason before.

I think that the lad being labelled one to watch before kick off was the reason for this. "We said he was going to good and we were right" type of thing.

Billings did well but sterling, Garcia and aguero deserved it alot more in my opinion.

Massive pinch of salt with this one as Murphy was trying to give recognition to a lad who played quite well against top opposition (which he did) but even some Hudd fans are finding it patronising

Garcia was superb second half - brilliant distribution, justone misplaced pass out of dozens (and then he won the ball back)
