FACT: Dzeko coming out of FK Teplice 6 years ago was a higher valued player than Simpson is today. By a factor of 5.

Personally I like the way that twitter gives us all access to the thoughts of professionals in this way. It adds an interesting dimension and makes footballers seem less distant and 'celebrity' and more like ordinary people.

In this case especially, cos Danny Simpson got shown up a bit.

I think it's a pity that people will try to bully him off of twitter just because he said things they don't like. Dzeko did his talking on the pitch, that should be enough for anyone who doesn't like what he tweeted.

I honestly didn't know who he was until someone posted about Newcastle and I still don't know what position he plays in.
