They couldn't pay Falcao Monaco wages it would destroy their dressing room. Falcao agreed to join Monaco 12 only 12 months ago when he could have gone anywhere so once Utd agreed to pay Monte Carlo money, he was going to OT

Wenger is culpable for not buying a striker to back Giroud up. Got away with it last season, but Giroud's injury was waiting to happen. He deserves criticism for that. Criticism for leaving Arsenal exposed.

There'll be a lot of reds who will be unhappy seeing Welbeck playing for Arsenal.
 
The most expensive tickets in England to see Welbeck run around like a headless chicken. Priceless.

Welbeck is a better player than he's being given credit for on here

His general game is very good, but his finishing is not great. He could do a good job for a top 4 club, and it might be enough to get Arsenal 4th at the expense of Utd.
 
Am I being paranoid here, or are a select band of clubs deliberately giving & reciving exobidently high fees, among themselves, for shite players, in order to to get around ffp and purposely fcuk us up?

Particularly when you consider that no one seems to be prepared to stump up fcuk all whenever we're the selling club

16m is steep but i'm thinking this is a very decent signing for Arsenal.

He is very fast,direct and commited,doesnt score the amount he should presently,however.....give Arsenals supply line we may well see a more prolific player.

I think he'll do very well.

So, this wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibilities.

Falcao hasn't recovered from his knee injury sufficiently so gets sent back.
RVP injuries continue.
Welbeck is at Arsenal
Little penis does alright at Madrid and pushes for a move.

Rags need 2/3 strikers this time next year.

Agreed, 100%. Good business for Arsenal. Welbeck will thrive there. He's young enough, and hungry enough, to learn, and he's gone to a technical team where he'll learn.
