I Dante think either of Bayern's centre backs are worth going for. Their goalkeeper and wing backs are quality, I think centre back is a real weakness.

I just don't get Bayern centre backs. Neither jump out at you like Kompany or Thiago, yet in their treble winning season they had an absolutely immense defence. Was it just an excellent system or are they perhaps not quite as bad as we think?

I think it's more along the lines of Barca. They have 7 world class attacking options that hold the ball and put so much pressure on the opposition. They would often score early which would allow them to play counter attacking football like Chelsea do now and give up much fewer goals than last year with the same players. They have so much pace on the wings and their attaching 4 are so clinical. I believe that Bayern and Barca play better defense as a team than we do which is why they have done better with less gifted defenders. There is so much more competition for places that everyone must defend or lose their place. Plus their respective leagues aren't nearly as intense as the PL. It's much harder to get up for every game you play as opposed to maybe 4 games a year in your league and then the CL.

Whenever I watch him he is awful, a complete donkey. He must play well in the games I don't watch, otherwise I have no idea how he gets in the Bayern team
