I'll always look back at Boateng's time here and laugh... what an absolute joke that was. Didn't he hurt himself on a plane??? He always reminded me of the quiet emotional homesick kid

No it's Italian, Munich in Italian is called Monaco.

In the first game against Bayern Dante plated an exquisite long ball to Muller to kill the game.

Didn't he do the same in Munich? Obviously didn't kill the game though.

No idea why anyone thinks he's terrible unless they're basing it on the Bayern away game and only that.

Yea and David Luiz's long and short passing is excellent. Doesn't mean his defending is brilliant, does it ?

Muller was offside.

In the Garcia thread you're saying we can sell him without any effect because Kompany can play there.
So all in all silvasleftpeg I don't think my logic and yours are particularly compatible.
Dante is a fine defender, part of easily the best defence in Europe last season.
Fwiw David Luiz is a quite good defender who makes the odd error that is exaggerated by his skill in other areas and his eccentric persona. Lescott, Nastasic, Demichelis probably all make as many errors he does and Luiz would likely improve our team. Arguably the ability to pass long and short is part of "defending" now so the point is moot anyway.

Garcia is irrelevant.
It is your opinion that Dante is a "fine" defender. Don't force your opinion onto others.
