Don't get all the negativity surrounding this film, if you were expecting it to be as good as The Dark Knight then you were always going to be disappointed. I really enjoyed it and I liked the way they ended it. I think Joseph Gordon Levitt stole the show as Blake. Bane kind of got bitched out Scarecrow style which was a bit annoying but he was quality throughout. Be interesting to see if they move onto a Robin/Nightwing series.

A bit disappointing to be brutal.

Huge fan of the Batman films, the Christopher Nolan series has been outstanding and unlikely to be bettered.

But this film lacked the "wow" factor that the other two had. Overly long, too many cops and robbers chases, it lacked the intimacy and depth of the previous two films.

Catwoman was excellent, but the "baddie", Bane, was simply an overweight bouncer doing the doors at Rockworld! Nothing special about him, humourless and lacking any real presence.

The ending, though, was superb. They tied it all up very well and it was actually the only real moment of emotional attachment in the film. Always go out at the end with a bang, so they clearly understood the basics of entertainment.

It will be interesting who the next Batman will be though, asuming there is more. I'll go for Ryan Gosling.

That could be due to the fact they are comparing it to TDK all the time.

Ive not seen it yet, and i loved TDK, but i will going to watch this film without thinking about the previous 2 and review it that way.

I thought Tom Hardy did a belting job and kept true to the original depiction of the character

Agreed, and humour is the very last thing a baddie needs to be effective.
