Darts walk on girls chalked off.

Reactions to things like this make me laugh.

I don't know a single woman who acts or talks like the, so-called, 'femi-nazis' that male dominated areas of the internet love to rant about. I don't even really know many that identify as huge feminists - in that they take part in protests and actions, etc.

However, I know numerous blokes who are constantly upset and seething about the way that "these feminists" affect their lives and how everything is shit now because of them.

It seems that there are a few extreme feminists on one side (who, like any extremists, talk shite on at least some issues). But on the other side, just as irate and irrational, is a huge swath of irrational blokes, with not much else to focus on in life, who are constantly raging that they are the subject of some sort of conspiracy to undermine their way of life - whether that it's feminism, "PC gone mad" or basically anything that is not like it was in the 70s.

In reality, having a load of models walking on at the darts is ridiculous. No-one thinks that Wimbledon would be made better if they did the same (for the men or women) and if broadcasters say that to be taken seriously as a sport they'd prefer that they didn't have something that actually serves no purpose there, then so what.

If you are that desperate to see attractive women, why not actually live a little and go out and pull. You know, maybe even have sex. And if you are too fat and ugly to do that, just go and watch some porn.

Care to explain the sudden explosion stories then were women are decrying the behavior of men and demanding change.

I've given an example above of a female bookstore owner who has took childrens fucking books off shelves, such is her anger and disgust that the author had the audacity to give his time and a speech at an event that raised millions for charity, money they have felt the need to now give back because of the grief an internet army now thinks they can hand out if they dont like something.

Women at the darts?

Ask them if they are ok giving up their living/money instead of making it so socially unacceptable now that people and companies are scared to death of offending anyone or anything.

In short, the internet.

It's an echo-chamber. Like this thread. Instead of noticing it in passing and maybe discussing it somewhere else, this thread is a small example of an echo-chamber.

Who cares about one woman's opinion in a book shop. You would have been totally unaware of one person's irrelevant decision 20 years ago. And her opinion/actions is still as irrelevant today. But today you will have thousands of idiots seething about it and convinced that it is some sort of proof of a feminist conspiracy against them.

As for the jobs of the models. No reasonable decision should ever be made just to save the jobs of a handful of models.

I tell you what, if you are so concerned about their career prospects, why not start a campaign to get them to lead MPs in at PM Questions. It's either integral to the event, or it isn't. Whether it puts them out of a job (a job that will make up a miniscule fraction of their annual income, at that) is absolutely irrelevant to a decision.

How has your life been affected by "women decrying the behaviour of men and demanding change"? Mine hasn't but you must have been affected in some pretty signficiant ways to be so seething about it. Let us know, cos if it is out of order I'll have plenty of sympathy for it.

It’s gone too far. Last night I had the misfortune to take my out. The programme where 30 women date a single man. There women made reference to a tiger that was on a mans shorts and how they could not staring at it. Another one said does that tiger roar.

Similarly mrs ww is off on a hen do next week and an assortment of cardboard cocks and the like at the ready for the traditional hen doo parties. They have even hired semi naked male butlers to make them cocktails while they get ready to go out.

Can you imagine if on national tv a man said - I can’t stop staring at your lady parts and does that pussy roar? There would be an outcry.

The world has quite lieterally gone mad .

fucking stupid post
It’s true to be fair.

One of my male mates couldn’t hold a book let alone a conversation or real job but he’s gorgeous and is a model. If someone lobbied to stop him advertising swimwear and athletic gear then he’d be screwed.

I'm not seething, just incredulous at a minority who now think they can be outraged and offended for a majority and demand that their views override that of the majority.

I also have no time for the few apologists that go out of their way to defend such behaviour.

You do realise that that isn't actually a real thing, right?

Marks you out having read some right old nonsense by conspiracy theorists or 'alt-right' nutters. You might as well wear a tinfoil hat - both send out the same message.

Well what I've actually read is "Dialectic of Enlightenment and Minima Moralia" as part a short course on the Frankfurt School of social theory. But don't let that prevent you from attempting to associate me with extremism in order to shut down an opposing view. Why wouldn't you? That's what Marx would prescribe.

So you've read those two texts and found out a bit about a school of thought from the 40s and 50s and come to the conclusion that this is a worldwide conspiracy of "Cultural Marxism" (I presume that you coined this phrase yourself?) all on your own?

It's just a coincidence that all sorts of cranks and conspiracy theorists happen to use your phrase?

There's a minority of people that are offended by every sort of decision made in every area of life, somewhere in the world. It's called having a different opinion. Some of them are full of shite, some of them happen to be right. To be seething about that is going to make for an unhappy life.

You'd be better off being incredulous and angry about important stuff and things that really are unequivocally wrong in life.

If you feel that not having girls in hotpants walking to the oche with Phil Taylor is something that is of importance and is unequivocally the sort of thing that we should fight to preserve in society in the 21st Century, then fair enough - you should be incredulous.

But you might be able to recognise that others probably think it is an irrelevance and can recognise that it serves no real purpose and is probably just there to attract fat pervs who don't get any (and the same applies to women and male 'totty'). And someone holding that opinion is nothing to do with feminism or some sort of forced way of thinking.

To be fair, when that minority is the sports broadcaster or sponsor that puts up most of the prize money, they can obviously override the views of the majority of people who've never put a penny of their money into darts. Advertising is all about what message you want to send out, and advertisers are generally not too keen to be associated with otherwise irrelevant women as eye candy any more. The world's biggest motor show even advises car manufacturers that having women in bikinis draped over their cars will reflect badly on their brand nowadays.
