If he was there to give the players a lift and inspiration he failed miserably. I'd rather have Ken Dodd there at least he would've put a smile on the players faces. God they looked unhappy.

Can't undertand this thread for the life of me ! Ok , he is ex Rag but if half just half of this team had the talent and the passion this guy had for our national side we wouldn't be feeling like this tonight . People like fat Frank and Wonney are not fit to lace his boots .

So you think Milner and SWP are better than him in his prime for the right hand side ? Football is about opinions , and think he is a good influence on young kids coming through , maybe I'm wrong and the guy was a waste of space and you would prefer great players like Terry who do an amazing PR job .
