David Beckham

In many ways him and his wife are the genesis and poster children for one of the ills of modern living, the social media influencer as a 'job'. He may not have started out consciously to go down such a path but his contribution to the more harmful effects of celebrity culture is significant.

I wonder if he's related to the David Beckham who in 2010 said he was "disgusted" that Qatar would be hosting the tournament.

They are related but there’s a bit of an age gap.
 
If he hadn't been a footballer, he would probably have ended up as a sweater model for a clothing brand, just like in the picture. Probably got paid a wad for wearing that, too.
