Was in the middle of preparing my next radio show for Thursday when I found out about Bowie's death.
Have decided to postpone the planned one (a series on Northern Soul) and broadcast a tribute to Bowie instead - 59 minutes of uninterrupted music.
If anyone's interested, I can post the link for people to hear the show (would be nice to get some feedback).

Yes please, the Northern one appeals more if honest but would still give it a listen, don't suppose there will be podcasts will there? I listen to a lot of podcasts @ work, they're well handy.

I think this will be our generations 'Kennedy moment', whereby everyone will always be able to remember where they were and what they were doing when they first heard Bowie had died

As much as I like Bowie, this is a mad statement to make. He was just a pop star. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh...Where was I? In bed. Listening to the radio. Where I suspect a lot of people were as well.
