If you don't mind me saying I think that's quite sad. Love a night at the pictures. What don't you like?
Dunno, just never liked them, short attention span maybe, confinement, non smoking (although to be fair I think you could smoke during Chariots of Fire).
I did go twice to see Quadrophenia in 79 but that may have been due to the Lesley Ash effect.

I softened the blow by buying 8 bottles of Heineken to take in with me. So I was half pissed by the end. Probably a good job. Can't stand gervais.

I'm a big Gervais fan and watched it last night and would give it a 6. Some good gags at the start but I think it pettered out and turned into another Derek.
It could of been brilliant if it had revolved around him being in the office and doing his band on the side but it got a bit boring and predictable once he left to start the tour.

No I thought I was going to see something else - only knew it was Brent when I got in. The Mrs knew that I wouldn't go and see it so told me it was something else. I audibly said "oh for fuck sake" - when the title of the film came up.
