David Cameron

Gordon Brown did well
But at the end of the day Cameron took the risk on this referendum .
This could have back fired on Cameron .
But he took the risk and got his reward .

And the nasty piece of work that is Alex Salmond is no more along with the topic of Scottish Independence.
Like him or not Dave played a blinder with this one.
All credit to him.

I give the smarmy clown absolutely no credit for the No vote - he rode on the backs of Labour on this one, and his job was to lead by example- Gordon Brown showed him how it's done in one speech - this will not have gone unnoticed by the electorate and his own party - he is a dead man walking when the tories lose the next election, they won't forget how close he took us to economic meltdown whilst just out of recession.

He played like a blind man more like it.

Cameron has shown his true colours today....ripping up the schedule that Gordon Brown drew up for meetings and agreement on 'Devo Max'

step one should have been a meeting on the 27th September now cancelled and the words that discussion may begin in 2015

Weasel , liar and cheat...........no wonder they've been rioting in Glasgow

If you were asked for the most divisive, cowardly, shitbag thing a politician could do this year to piss off the Scottish people (traitors apparently), this would probably be top of the list.

Well played Dave, what a blinder, punishing the Yes voters two days after the election "he won".

I think you may be missing the point here, he (and the government) need to answer the West Lothian question first, and also propose a new more devolved system of power for England, when that is sorted out Scotland will get it's extra powers

Errrrrr .......at no point in Gordon Browns speech(es) or any subsequent speech from any other MP was there a requirement for the 'West Lothian Question' to be resolved first. Brown made a Vow its now Cameron and his cronies who are doing the wriggling on this

Disgraceful....

The point still remains, we can not give Scotland the extra powers until the problem of basic democracy in England is sorted out Brown was rash in making the promises

Brown hard to give the speech. If Cameron had said the same no fucker in Scotland would listen - he's a Conservative, and he's more unpopular up there than a fat free diet.

That promise (which now turns out to be an out and out lie) was signed off by all three parties ...and influenced the vote to the extent that it moved from 51% yes to only 45%......if the West Lothian Question needed to be resolved first then it should have been made clear in the speech, and the timetable adjusted accordingly.

Its deceit ......nothing more nothing less
