I suspect certain colleagues wouldn't be as supportive as he'd like.

Hopefully he's allowed to rebuild his life in peace and be able to ref at a decent level again.

He would have been offered a significant sum of money to do the interview, certainly a temptation given his fall from grace.

Bang on, unfortunately.

Has clearly been let down by some people he trusted too much. He's called Jürgen Klopp a **** and done some coke - big deal.

Couldn't continue as a ref, no doubt, but whoever these people are - they've gone behind his back and basically ruined his life.

The fact he's come out via The Sun also makes me think they knew already and have pressured him, given him the spiel about how he can control the narrative.

Hope he gets the help he needs.
