David Coote | Charged with making indecent video of a child (p57)

I wonder if this was discovered because of the videos of him slagging off klopp and doing lines got the police involved in looking at his phone, or was it just completely seperate?

He was doing a redemption press tour not that long ago with big sit down interviews, coming out and blaming hiding his sexuality for his poor decisions...he must have known this would come out as well?

Not that it matters that much, he's going to spend a long time in prison.
 
Obviously not found guilty yet but if you're being charged with actually making the video, they've almost certainly got some proof there.

People found guilty of that should never see the streets again. I don't think there's any rehabilitation for people like that. Not worth risking releasing them.

Time we start having those sexual predator and nonce jails where there's no release date.
 
Never felt comfortable with people giving him the benefit of doubt for that Klopp outburst whilst doing cocaine to be fair.

Well there's being a bit of a idiot on coke, like many many people are every weekend, and then there's being a fucking nonce and making videos of kids.

I doubt anyone would really foresee that just from a video of him off his nut and being dumb enough to say stuff on video.
 
He sounds like a complete car crash of a person. I always perceived referees as staid and boring. To get to the top level takes a lot of work - not something you normally associate with druggy pedos.

Section 43 will not save him, in whichever establishment of his majesty's pleasure he gets directed to for an extended stay... natural justice will prevail.
 
Just thought I'd add that the police have stated the charge of making an indecent image relates to downloading, sharing or saving material.

so It doesn't mean he's made some kiddie porn. Obviously still not a good thing but its not as heinous as the charge would lead us to believe.
 
Says it was found on his phone February this year. So possibly he was already being investigated for something else (maybe for that drugs video incident?) and they ended up finding that too?

Absolute scum obviously, but as a foreign speaker "making a video" is a confusing way to describe the charge considering from what I can see it means that the video is found on his phone but something he has been involved in creating.
Is there a reason why the formulations isn't more akin to "possesing a video" rather than "making" as I assume it must confuse some english speakers as well?

Not that it matters much (unless some other sicko has sent him the video without his consent at it is has stuck on his cloud or something) but being directly involved in harming children I'd say is a different level of scum. Willingly watching it is awful as well of course
