Thats the guy lol couldn't remember his name at all my point is that if Capello will call him up, why would he be worried to call James up now hes at Bristol City, that if he still thinks hes good enough.

Good signing for Bristol.
I've always liked David James. In an age of money hungry agents and players brains being in their dick, James has always stood out as a Gentleman and pretty morally sound.
If he had still be unattached by midnight this evening Pompey would have owed him another £140k in severence pay, so in signing today he's saved them a few quid and shown his previous employers a lot of respect. Don't get me wrong, he's probably not short of a few quid but a nice gesture all the same.

Always seemed a family man to me, coming to the end of his career, I've got a lot of respect from him choosing not to uproot his family. Good luck to him!
