David Luiz

I can't believe people are still banging on about left backs. Kolarov is our left back and we still have Bridge and Cunningham. Luiz if we got him can play VERY well there as can Boeteng. If desperate we still have Lescott, Zabba and Barry who can fill in. I think that's quite enough.

And then what happens when Kolarov is fit? People need to realise that we aint going to just splash out money on players because 1 is injured. Also Boateng can play at left back so i would expect him to fill in against Liverpool and Cunningham to play against Timisoara. Id much rather have Cunningham playing there and improve him rather then waste £35 million on an overrated defender. Just because hes Brazilian doesnt mean hes suddenly brilliant, where was he in the world cup?

And then what happens when Kolarov is fit? People need to realise that we aint going to just splash out money on players because 1 is injured. Boateng can play LB.but then you will have to play Richards RB and after his performance against spurs ,i am no longer looking forward to see him playing there.Luiz is a very good cover for both the LB and the CB spots and we will need him through the season because we rarely have a fit back 4.As for the world cup ,Dunga isn't a genius ,is he?

You forgetting about Zabaleta? I have nothing against Dunga i think he chose the right squad for the World Cup because he had the bollocks to drop the trouble makers like Pato and Ronaldinho. Your saying Luiz will be very good 'cover', for £35 million i dont think we will be buying a player to cover for others. Im happy with the defensive options we have, ok Richards isnt the best but we cant change the whole squad straight away plus he counts as a homegrown player. If there was 1 player who i would get rid of it would be Toure as i dont rate him but im not the manager

Richards was up against Bale who does that to every right back he comes up against
