His touch is absolutely magnificent.
Him and david silva showed some really good one touch moves in some tight areas tonight.
His awareness is spot on and his passing is quality.
I'd love to see hime get a start.

Quick feet was what I noticed from him tonight, a very impressive little cameo. He'll be a very handy acquisition, especially against teams that are sitting deep with men behind the ball.

Wouldn't throw him into a start straight away but certainly a full second half/60 minute sub against Blackburn if we're in front and comfortable. The amount of players Porto had on the pitch still doesn't disguise some of the quality he showed, but I'll refrain from getting giddy till we've seen a bit more. Certainly looking like a very shrewd loan signing though.

He looks like a real player, and i noticed when he set up the 3rd and scored the 4th all the players congratulated him and looked very happy for him, which to me looks like he's well liked in the camp, maybe Bobby has found some1 who can bring the best out of the others!

Obviously it was a tired and ten men Porto but still he showed some real quality out there tonight. Cant wait to see more of him, I would gift him a start at weekend.

Immediately the man showed the class and natural ability lacking in Barry and NDJ. Its not just the first touch (ball instantly under control) its because he has more ability that he has time to pick the right pass and play with his head up to create things. The ball moves crisply and he is offensive & positive, where the other two look sideways.

He looks to me like he has everything, and i'd certainly start him against Blackburn - could be the ace in the hole to save the manager his job............................
Still not fooling anyone.

He seems like the missing piece. A ball playing midfielder who comes off of the bench... A player capable of combining with Silva/Nasri/Aguero/Yaya. We have this odd gap of players who are less inclined to play one and two touch stuff and it becomes visible it certain areas of the pitch.

I was really excited when we signed him on loan and was hoping he'd show a performance like this to get himself in a position to compete for a spot.

Knew he was class, but wasn't sure how he'd fit in the squad. Seems a perfect fit as he is a different player than NJD and Barry. Not better, but different in a way that could help us break down teams parking the bus. Pizzaro gives us a different player that can control the tempo and pick out direct, long passes forward to connect with our attackers that NJD, and to some extent, Barry, don't give us.

Would love to see him get a run of 70+ minutes to see how he performs over a longer period in a league game as the pace and physicality is different than against a team such as Porto.

Was thinking the exact same. Barry and De Jong lacking 'natural' ability? Mancini's job at risk?
