Immediately the man showed the class and natural ability lacking in Barry and NDJ. Its not just the first touch (ball instantly under control) its because he has more ability that he has time to pick the right pass and play with his head up to create things. The ball moves crisply and he is offensive & positive, where the other two look sideways.

He looks to me like he has everything, and i'd certainly start him against Blackburn - could be the ace in the hole to save the manager his job............................
Still not fooling anyone.

Was thinking the exact same. Barry and De Jong lacking 'natural' ability? Mancini's job at risk?
Check her post history. Littered with posts similar. Sad. Very sad.

He looks good, but I personally doubt he could go a full game playing like that so for me coming off the bench is the best place for him. It makes me feel really confident knowing that we have that kind of player on the bench. Though before we all start going crazy lets not forget many of us (myself included) thought the same about Owen before sadly his injuries started coming back.

his passing reminds me of Yayas, which until he left and returned I never realised how important that was to our team. Yaya has proved me wrong and now we have a back up, it really fills me with confidence knowing we can fall back onto players of this calibre.

I would start him in the next europa game seeing as YaYa is now suspended. Or give him a few mins as a sub in the PL, Im not quite sure he's ready to start just yet though

Obviously it was a tired and ten men Porto but still he showed some real quality out there tonight. Cant wait to see more of him, I would gift him a start at weekend.
