First one I have seen. I think he must be a bit camera shy and previously lacked confidence speaking English in interview.

This deeper role is suiting him and when he's on this form, his pin point accurate passing is a joy to see, as his amazing timing and weight of ball passing. I Love watching every game he plays in.
 
What more is there to say about the little magician?

Brilliant again today. He controlled the game from start to finish and, according to Sty, he covered more ground than any other City player.

He has really taken to the new rôle that Pep has him playing like a duck to water.

He also gave a great interview to Sty, proving that his English has come on in leaps and bounds.

What a player. I feel so privileged to have been able to watch Merlin over the last nearly seven years and I hope he's here for many years to come.
 
Wonderful, wonderful player.

What was going on with the interview though, English? Alone?! Unheard of.
 
In my humble opinion David Silva is the best ever player to pull on the revereed blue shirt and arguably the best player to play in the premier league. It's a privilege to have seen him play so many times.
 
Pep on Silva:

Just LOVE watching him play, he is on a different wavelength to the rest (with possibly the exception of Kev)

Interview was fantastic, but must work harder on his Manc accent (like Zab!)

I will be devastated when he eventually leaves us.
 
I think pep has given him responsibility and confidence hence his first long interview in english,safe to say we will not be getting rid after all ;)

Agreed. He has an ability to see passes that even we can't see watching the pitch from above, I can't think of another player in the league who even comes close to his ability. Even KDB, who I think is an amazing passer doesn't come close to Silva's ability to just know what is required when he's under pressure. I'm gonna enjoy every moment we get to have him

I was right there with you. Who would have thought a midfield three of KDB, Silva, and Yaya....with our back four...and our second choice keeper... would be the first city squad to keep 5 consecutive away clean sheets?? It blows my mind how effective him and kev have been playing in a deeper role.

He's such an intelligent player (obiously). I'm most impressed by his work rate and defensive contributions. Multiple times a game he wows me with a timely tackle or aerial challenge that might go unnoticed by some.
