I hope he carries on.

Silva's international duties have never really been a problem for us, he's never travelling too far and Spain don't take the piss.

He's never been such an important part of the Spain side as he is under Lopetegui and I'd love to see him continuen to rack up goals and appearances for them. Hes 14 appearances behind Xavi who is 3rd in all time appearances for Spain and 3 goals behind Fernando Torres who is 3rd in alp tike goals for Spain.
 
David Silva won't play against Argentina for personal reasons. He will be avalaible for Manchester City game.

Hopefully that is more of a quiet agreement than cause for alarm. Even better if it’s a Ferguson style international sickie to get rest for what is going to be an insane couple of weeks.

He’s returned home for personal reasons according to Spain’s Twitter.
 
Incredible Merlin has still been able to play to such a high standard considering his son's health. Silva is a genius and I am so glad his young son is getting better.
