The fact that he makes it look so casual is the reason he'll never be recognized
He’s a feisty little fucker. He’s really added some steel to all that silk. End of the first half he went in hard on matic (i think) with a slide tackle and the ball popped up and Silva won the header too.
I prefer to bury my head in the sand and think that whilst it didn't get the best out of him, Silva still developed and learnt some things under Pellegrini that he wouldn't have under Pep. In the same way I believe the reason Touré is/was such a unique player due to his rather unique football journey. The only negative thing about Silva is I find myself wondering what could have been if we'd got pep in 2013 as intended.
Imagine what a 27 year old Merlin might have become under him. Same goes for Aguero and Yaya at his peak, maybe even Nasri could have had a very different career if he's met Pep at 25 not 29.
Obbiously We'll never know, and jusr have to enjoy every moment he's on the pitch ubder Guardiola over the next 18 months.
Finally getting the recognition from the pundits that he deserves. Hopefully some achievement award at the end of the season will come his way.
Possibly but there's the football writers award.Sadly Salah will probably get player of the year or even our Kev.
