Had the nbc feed for today’s game and lee Dixon was rubbing one out all game over Silva. He had a brief pull over a sane/ginola threesome but was quickly back to Silva

Favourite player ever.

Kevin’s been brilliant but I’ll be voting silva my player of the year, especially what he’s played through and still produced.

You can tell something's not right at ITV. I don't normally like to go down this route, but it's so clear that he has a much different attitude towards City and their players on that channel than he does on any other.

Sorry Kevin, but this guy is player of the year. Getting better and better, genius. Considering what he's been through, he's playing better than ever.

Our best ever player, and perhaps in the top 20 of players to have ever played in the Premier League.

He is just a superb player. De Bruyne has rightly stolen all the headlines but Silva has been magnificent. Particularly in the last 7/8 games he has played. Unplayable.

Just pointing out the only game in the league at the candle burners we lost Big Dave didn’t play and in that mad 10 mins we couldn’t keep the ball. That’s the big difference on Weds. best player I’ve ever seen full stop

Saw on Twitter someone point out that Silva and Rooney are the same age yet one is still completley running the show and the other is jogging around like an overweight sunday league player who had a dodgy kebab the night before.

That's really strange. In fairness, Rooney became a vet at 16. So he's been playing adult football longer.

There was a point in the first half when one of their players came flying in thinking they'd clatter him and he just glided away as if he wasn't even there. Made me realise how often that happens. He knows where everyone is all the time. Omniscient.
