Silva has become a lot tougher this season, must be his skinhead. Just needs a pair of studded docs on and he'll be doing the kicking.

I know nothing has been said officially but if the rumors are true then hearing a stadium full of fans at their loudest to cheer him on will have to help with the healing.

I don't think he's necessarily tougher, I just think he's got over the ankle injury that was causing him to crumple every time someone left their studs in on him last season and the one before.

He definitely gives back, and has done for a good few years, he gets away with a lot of fouls that would be a nailed on yellow card if Fernandinho or a defender made them.

Great news that Merlin is back in training and its a credit to the club and players have kept merlin's privacy intact , his issues are personal and its f*ck all to do with anyone else , hope he has a stormer against Watford , i think the Hornets are going to pay the price for our draw at Palace.

Well said mate. The club has done well to keep his private life private, nobody needs to know. We all just hope he sorts it best he can and comes back fresh and focused.

He's such an integral part of the squad. In absolute command at all times. KDB has been great and deserves all the recognition but no one controls the game better than our Merlin.

I very much doubt he's reporting it without permission.

That guy has been first to any ounce of news regarding Silva or Aguero all season, he's clearly very close to their camps.

I presume Silva told him it was OK. This guy obviously has close links to certain players at City.
