Dav on soccer am,what a legend.
Think it’s a blessing in disguise that he’s not fit for Sunday. As much as we all love him, I don’t think he’s suited anymore to be playing big games like this one. We need the legs in midfield, Bernardo next to KDB would make me feel a lot more confident.
He's been an incredible player for City, perhaps our greatest ever player, but I struggle to see why he is starting these games when we have Foden on the bench. It should be the other way around. SIlva starts the odd game, and comes of for Foden to control games in the last half an hour.
The second half of last season he was slowing down and it’s continued unfortunately. I think his departure timing is right and he will still win us some games with his passing but he doesn’t look the same player to me this season but then again that could be said about a few players.
He's being carried at the moment and we can't afford to carry him. The teams shape off the ball is falling apart when he's on the pitch. He can't run and he's no longer moving the ball quickly enough to free Sterling.
Play him against sides in the bottom half, but against top opposition he should be absolutely nowhere near the starting XI.
