In the absence of the Valencia and Manchester City official made the transfer of David Jimenez Silva, the father of the Canarian player, speaking on the spar of the Cadena SER to justify the decision of his son. "Valencia, this year, he said transferable and clearly needs the money. So we heard this offer, which is very good for us, and the decision is made. Now, the only thing the two clubs close the transfer, "said Fernando Jimenez, who delved into the obvious economic needs of the club che:" They told us we could talk to clubs and the best example is the City, which is what has made you more interested to take David. "

Smith's father was honest with the change in the negotiations: "I know that, as in Valencia is not anywhere, but there are compelling reasons to rule." He also had words for the situation of his son in South Africa: "For me, should play him and ten more. Has been a key so far."

Ribery, Ronaldinho were great players. At their peak the best in the World. Torres is a shadow of who he was at the moment. Surely you can all see that? If we have an interest in the player surely that concerns you?

Doesn't concern me in the slightest. A commentator said the other night that the last time Torres played before the world cup was in April. It is plainly obvious that he's just a little rusty and despite this, he's still causing teams major problems. Form is temporary, class is permanent and Torres will be banging them in again in no time. The guy is the fucking business

He is when he's fit. 22 goals in 32 games is an incredible record. However, here's the rub. Should we be paying £52 squillion for a player that only made 32 appearances all competitions last season.

He's a fine player no doubt, but is he actually worth the money considering how much time he spends on the treatment table?

Whilst at Liverpool he has never had chance to heal properly. AT least if we rotate better we could have a world beater on out hands !!!

Silva you'll never gonna make two season with city not to speak until 2014 sorry to say but city treat players like shit just look what they did to robinho and others such as SWP, Ireland, bridge. The real winner here is Valencia and no one else. Forget real destroying players career the city is way worse than all of them but fortenly not for long cause i CANT see arabs having patience. NOT FOR LONG CITY FANS NOT TO LONG so enjoy your short richness but when sheikhs go away your in REAL trouble."
