According to AS Di Maria will sign for Real 100%, we know they arent always right but to say this they cleary have some very good contacts. Id say if Di Maria goes to Real then they wont sign Silva but that doesnt mean he comes to us because Barca will be sniffing around and so will a host of other top European clubs

From what i can gather we have agreed terms with valencia and we have negotiated the financial side of things with silva's agent now all there is to do is to convince silva that this is the place for him and get him to sign the contract.

I would be amazed if City still hadn't managed to speak with a player a full week after agreeing a fee with his club. Doesn't exactly show commitment from the player if he can't be arsed to get in touch with us and speak despite us agreeing a fee. Can only assume the timing on your infomation is incorrect.

Just to clarify further THD, the stage we are up to is negotiating the wage demands and length of contract and any potential bonuses with his agent rather than with the player, which means potentially / hypothetically despite the bid being accepted by Valencia and his agent being prepared to sit down with us, even if the terms and conditions of the contract drawn up were satisfactory the player may still deem us as not being able to match his ambitions and may not be interested in a move to us?

Discussing fees between clubs means jack shit. We are also aware of the fees for two players at Liverpool. Not spoken to them, either.
