David Silva Retires from international football.

The man's been an absolute legend for club and country and will forever be rightly remembered for the amazing talent which we've been so fortunate to witness year in year out.

Whilst the potential benefits for us are obvious, it seems a bit churlish to be celebrating the end of such an illustrious international career and it's probably a sad day for him too.

He can be very proud of his contribution to Spain's successes over the years and I think regardless of fan allegiances he's just one of those players that makes football such a joy to watch for everyone. He will be missed on that stage.

Great news for City.

Wonder if he could work alongside Pep & Arteta when his contract finishes????

Who better to bring on Diaz & Foden after he finishes.
Went on the stadium tour last week and the guide said Pep assigned all the players their seats in the dressing room because he didn't want any cliques. Silva is sat at the end of the arc, next to Foden, Diaz, Nmecha and Zinchenko. Apparently he's taken on the role of mentor to the younger players.
