David Silva

If Silva leaves he goes to a top European club. Toure leaves he goes east... middle or far.

Silva needs to be in the middle not wide. This is difficult when Toure needs to be accommodated.

I can't believe some here have written him off!!
Every player goes through dips in form over their career often following injuries.
One of the greatest players ever to pull on our shirt deserves more respect and trust from his fans than some here are showing him.
He is probably the most "Guardiola" style player in our team and will thrive under Pep when played in the correct position, not far out wide as has been Pellegrini's want far too often.
He is far from over the hill imho.

Tell me that you're joking, people, please. Silva? No balls? Hull away in 13-14, with our captain off the pitch? Silva's stones were clashing so loud you could hear them on the telly. Goals not part of his game? Long run last season with Sergio out in the lead up to New Year's Day? Silva scored regularly, because he had to step up to the plate and just do it. He was not tempted to defer to Sergio, and pass to him when he is so obviously, and so often, in a better scoring position.
Merlin's been quite poor since coming back from his injury, and overall, this is one of his most mediocre seasons for us since coming. It's a major reason, although not the only one, why we're battling for fourth place rather than first. That's my considered opinion. It's also my considered opinion that he is the best player, taking the last few years into account, to have played for us that I've seen, with the single exception of Colin Bell. I don't quite think, somehow, that's he's finished with us…

Hull away

Goodnight

11 league assists now. only Ozil has more. Goals is his only short-coming

Not been his best season, but still a fantastic talent with many years ahead of him. I have loved watching him play for City, and I am sure there are many more games to come. I am sure he will be looking to become a better player.

Far from a fantasist. Pessimist yes.

Without meaning to sound rude, your head looks really small on this picture.

David is a legend.

His ankle is a long term issue.
In my experience, most footballers carry some sort of problem most of the time and are able to play "around the problem". This would appear to be the case for his ankle.
He is not finished yet.
