David Silva

I'll humour you.....

The entire Spanish team were very poor by their high standards.

David silva,as i have already commented, could not influence the game.

Silva was far better than any other attacking mids Spain had on though. Fabregas, Iniesta and Nolito we're all trash. Near the end Iniesta started playing a bit but Silva was the pick of the litter troughout the match.

Really sad how a Sunderland / Bologna player can be twice the player any of the above mentioned were today.

I thought they were all of a similarly poor standard today,a lack of cohesion and a lack of heart was the issue.

Silva will not be an automatic choice under Pep IMO.

You can't expect "heart" from a bunch of 50kg playmakers getting tossed around by De Rossi, Parolo, Pelle and the like. It was the managers fault 110%. No strenght and toughness in the midfield, Busquets is a crybaby that can't take a challenge without throwing a fit and isn't fit for the role. A team only needs one of Iniesta/Silva/Fabregas to be honest.

Had a good tournament on the whole. Looks like he's injury free and can get some deserved rest. That'll do me.
