Oh yeah, exactly the same..

I meant goalscoring record:

Villa (at the age of 25) had scored

38/80 @ Gijon
32/73 @ Zaragoza
41/71 @ Valencia

12/24 for Spain

Giving him a total of 123/248 (ratio of 0.49)

Dzeko (before he came to us)

16/43 @ Teplice
66/111 @ Wolfsburg

17/37 for Boznia

Giving him a total of 99/191 (ratio of 0.51)

So at the same age their record is almost identical. So why on earth would we want to sign the old one and inhibitit the up and coming one. It's ridicuous.

I actually saw him play for Teplice in Teplice - bet not many blues can say that!!!

Trying to say Dzeko is anywhere neer as good as Villa is ridiculous.
Have you actually watched either of them play?

I'm not even going to continue this argument, Villa is arguably the best striker in the world, Dzeko is the 3rd/4th best in our squad, never mind the world.

David Villa is Mr. Clinical - give him a chance and he puts it away 9 times out of 10. There is a reason why Barcelona lashed out so much for the fella!

Would love to see him link up with Spanish Dave again!

Villa won't come. And, now that Carlos is staying, we don't need him.

He's a class act but he'll be thirty soon, and likely to cost us £25m.
agree with all that bud!! no need for him if carlos stays!! other areas to sort out first.

In the last half of last season, it was more like he'd put it wide or over the bar 9 times out of 10! He did score a cracker in the CL final though, but his dip in form was worrying, Barca were lining up chance after chance for him and he was fooking them all up.
