Can’t the Speaker pull the Honourable person up for actually telling lies, surely there is some form of recourse?
PS. Johnson - Tells - Lies
short answer is no.

The HOC is like a Sunday football match where the referee has lost control, the Speaker has not upheld the rules or corrected the way the government or this PM has behaved.
This has seeped through to other MP's behaviour, Jacob Rees answering a serious question on fisheries by "saying they are happy because they are British fish". Johnson lying, repeatedly or mouthing "ooh yay". Constantly going around parliament with key announcements.
You could be here all day.
It's a badly run debate club at a boys school.
Asked to leave the chamber for telling the truth about Johnson.
This is how low the moral and ethical standards of this nation have fallen. Liars can lie, call out the liars and be sanctioned. Disgusting.

Thougs he is correct, liar, thief, blaggard, drunkard, etc are considered unparliamentary langiage and will always get you thrown out for the day, and not just in our parliamnent, but most round the world.
What is needed is a removal of such outdated concepts and allow freedom for our elected officials to call out a lying **** for being a lying ****
Long term planning.Dawn was right in everything she said. Johnson lies and cheats but unfortunately he’s fireproof. She’s marched out of parliament and he’ll dress up as a doctor or a farmer tomorrow and the public will love him……….sad but a fact - how did everything end up like this?
Actually, you could probably call another member a nonce under parliamentary privilege, but not a liar. The system is archaic as calling a fellow MP a liar is akin to saying they are a nonce (some probably are).
I'd like to see other MPs doing the same to get the point across. I'm sure the SNP would be up for it. The Lib dums could do their usual tutting. Caroline Lucas would have no qualms about calling the PM a liar to his face neither.
It's a fucked up system designed for use by Etonians and other top private schools.
We need a wholesale change of how our so called democracy is governed.
With the technology we have now. Parliament could easily be moved to Manchester/Leeds/Birmingham. As well as other major departments.
Treasury in Glasgow, Transport in York, environment in Plymouth etc.
