If he’s fully recovered I’d look at bringing him on against Burnley and then starting him against Spuds.
Thought he was Lyon's best player, against us.
He ran the whole game. I've never thought a player was more suited to a role at City than this guy. We need an alternative to Fern who needs to not play every single game. We have no natural player to give him a rest.
Ndombele was excellent against us and I was very impressed. Certainly, one to keep an eye on over the next few months.Thought he was Lyon's best player, against us.
Don't forget Rabiot - a lot of clubs know they can agree pre-contract on a free in Jan. It might ease things between PSG and our club if we offered something generous. All these permutations of our midfield are pretty mindblowing and I wouldn’t rule another addition in January if a Fern successor comes on the market (Ndombele or F de Jong).
It’s a nice problem to have but excepting an injury crisis there are going to be one or two players getting hardly any game time.
I hope Kev comes on against Burnley off the bench for the last 25 minutes and gets the amazing reception he deserves.
