Fern will be fine until January, will give us everything he's got.

That way, the set-up can be to rest Dave, and complete the midfield with Bernardo and Kev.

Personally, when he's got a bit more meat on him, I think Foden could do an amazing job there.

I decided to watch a bit more of this lad Ndombele. He's perfect for us in many ways.

I said this about Foden over a year ago..he had the ability to play at the base of our midfield, taking the ball off our defenders...quite a few poured scorn at my suggestion......"why do you say that ? he,s only ever played attacking midfield for the youth team etc etc"
but maybe my judgement of the player wasnt so off the mark.,we will see....

I'm inclined to think that Pep will use him in the second half - he doesn't like rushing players back too soon, especially after a long layoff

Incorrect, unfortunately.

@tolmie's hairdoo confirmed that Kante’s move to Chelsea is permanent. We wanted to bring him back in the summer but weren’t able to give him assurances of playtime as he had in his original stint with us. Too bad, too, as his partnership with Kev was something to behold.
