De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Worries my that it’s the same knee that’s gone again, hopefully it’s just a freak incident and not a sign that the knee is weak.

Any other scenario and i would be on my knees weeping. We are however built now to withstand such injuries. This is the essence of Peps philosophy in action regarding having 2 world class players for each position along with our general playing dynamic.

Much as it's bad news that he's injured, I can't help but giggle slightly at the position City are now in whereby they are reduced to relying on players as hopeless as David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Gundogan, Foden, Mahrez, Delph and Sterling to cover for him.
I had to giggle slightly, when you threw it out there. We're really screwed aren't we?

Thanks Doctor.
you should really read what posters write instead of trying to take the piss, my quote was " best case scenario is 10 weeks" when posting about Kevs injury, this is a forum, none of us are doctors, we just like to speculate on what we read or see.

As we all know, we have an abundance of talent to step in and cover us, but for me, it's his "presence" being on the pitch that I feel we will miss most
Totally agree. He’s not afraid to let those around him he ain’t happy and demand better when required. Gonna be a big miss.

Assuming he's back by Jan, and it doesn't linger, I'm not too worried about this. He played 11+ months straight, took of a few weeks and then came back. His body could probably use a rest. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Could have been much worse. Luckily... We're much better than any of the other teams in the league, with the exception of possibly Liverpool. Plug in Gundagon and we are still one of the 3 best teams in the world. I like Bernardo playing in the middle also. Don't know if he can do the job in defense, but we'd probably be fine.
