Of course everyone is entitled to their right to flap and slag the player off because he has not gone on strike or made speeches declaring his love of the shirt. However, I regard it as just so much hot air and posters needing to feel indignant and vent.

Txiki has likely been in discussion with KDB's agent for months and KDB will be doing whatever his agent advises him - that is how it works. So KDB's behaviour is likely to be entirely what has been agreed between Txiki and the agent. All IMO of course - but at least as valid as all the slagging off of the player - and a lot more positive.

My only worry about signing him is that he's not the exact player we need. A big part of our great play so far has come from the width and pace Navas has on the left. What we really need is a Navas with end product. That's not KDB at all, he's not fast enough and he's not a natural winger.

However I think Pellers has done enough for us to trust him if he says this is the player we need, and there's not doubting his unbelievable quality and the stats speak for themselves. I look forward to us having someone in midfield who will lash in a few 25 yard screamers each season as well, sometimes we seem way too hesitant to shoot from distance.

The fee is high, but it's not our money and if he delivers the results he did last year than it's going to seem a good investment. He's probably the best player in Europe who is actually available.
 
People slated the Fernandinho fee and look how that worked out

People slated the Mangala fee and after adapting to the league he has the potential to be one of the best CBs in the world.

People slated the Sterling fee and look how he has improved our team.

The fact is, the fee is irrelevant as long as the player improves us. With De Brunye, Sterling and Mangala, we are looking at players who can contribute to City for the next 8-10 years. Also, with the way the transfer market is going, we could easily recoup most, if not profit, on these players if we choose to do so at a later date.

People get far to wrapped up in what the media and other fans thinks of us. The way I see it is, I've got an affordable season ticket and the club want to sign one of the best playmakers in Europe. Why the hell would and true City fan be against that?
 
Got if from a Wolfsburg fan who is linked closely to the media in Wolfsburg. He has always been reliable, never claimed to know more than he really did.

I stick to it: No training for De Bruyne today. You all can guess what that means.

My hope is that City have correctly guaged the degree of enthusiasm the player feels for the move but my most players on the brink of a move tendency to demonstrate a modicum of enthusiasm. You always got the in impression from Raheem that he was desperate to come to the club and do well but with KDB, not so much.
 
I dont give a shit how much we pay. The same people posting here that say were paying to much are the same people who when we didnt pay more to get hazzard etc were moaning about it. Pay the fee get the best young talent signed and we are set for many years to come. Big players bring other world class players.
 
Gone past caring now ,have enjoyed watching the breaking at speed down both flanks,think navas work rate and effort is second to none ,would probably say he's been better than sterling this time,trouble is neither of them can Finnish.shame it will be him dropped to make way for the big money signing
 
people complaining about him not being vocal, you can guarantee when (not if lol) he signs he will be spewing with glowing comments about the club.
